When I first heard The Pretty Reckless around 5 months ago, I was not actually aware that singer Taylor Momsen was also an actress (Gossip Girl), I just knew that the song - 'Make me Wanna Die' was rather fine. Anyway was interested to find out if they have any other decent songs and could cut it live. The answer is yes. Their short set demonstrated that Momsen has the voice and the stage presence to carry it off, and Zombie, Miss Nothing, and My Medicine are fine songs. The album could be a pretty decent debut. Also nice to see an acoustic version of Nick Lowe's masterful Peace, Love and Understanding as an encore.
